'The Temporary: 02', RareKind/China, showcases the diverse visual identities of graffiti and street artists from China and the UK.
Culturally subverted, underground and dangerous, graffiti and street art is a global phenomenon, marking a moment of social action, rarely acknowledged as contemporary art. Uniting graphic design, sign-writing, typography and illustration, the project comprises a print exhibition with live window painting, graffiti demonstrations and workshops, animation projections and a guided tour of Manchester’s renowned street art.
